A Bit About Me

Allow me to introduce myself! I'm a queer identifying therapist who's passionate and committed to fostering positive change through a holistic approach to mental health and well-being.

I began my journey in the mental health field after witnessing how dominating I found mental health struggles to be in the LGBTQIA community that I'd found identity and belonging in.

During my education, I also found my passion for working with couples. Witnessing the transformation and growth that can occur within the therapy room with couples is inspiring and incredibly fulfilling. Much like my inspiration, Sue Johnson the founder of Emotionally Focused Therapy, I believe that healthy and secure relationships are the key to changing the world we live in.

Positively impacting the world is something I'm passionate about, for that reason I'm a firm believer in creating a safe and inclusive space where individuals from all walks of life can explore their unique identities and experiences. I want to create for you what I wish had been available to me in different transitional parts of my own life. That being said, I'm deeply committed to promoting equality, dismantling systemic oppression and advocating for the rights and well-being of marginalized communities.

In addition to my professional pursuits, I find solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. Hiking is not only a good way to get moving but also a way for me to recharge and leave the stresses of daily life behind. During the heat of the summer though, you can usually find me floating the river to cool down instead!

When I'm not outdoors, you can find me with my head buried in a good book or hyper-focused in on a video game. You'll likely also find me doting on my sweet pups, Luna and Flynn.
